Cwmhiraeth (talk) , 28 August 2019 (UTC) Hi Narutolovehinata5 and Cwmhiraeth, at the time I made that comment, there was only one source for the the "suppressed" and "revived" facts. There are now two, and I agree that the other is more detailed.Rebecca Green (talk) , 29 August 2019 (UTC) Overall: The issue about Ph D theses as sources was resolved at WP: RSN, and other sources have been added. Rebecca Green (talk) , 30 August 2019 (UTC) There is a reason I did not respond.Because this whole thing seems to have been over my choice of wording, not any real issue with the article. So please adjust the wiki article, or remove this hook.To create a new nomination or to see those that are yet to be approved, see Template talk: Did you know. Click on the link to go directly to the Special occasion holding area. This page is for those nominations that have already been approved and are waiting to be promoted. If you can't find the nomination you submitted to the nominations page, and it also isn't on this page, in most cases it means your article has been approved and is either in one of the prep areas, has been promoted from prep to a queue, or is on the main page.
I would consider the Ph D thesis reliable - however, I note in checking the references to the thesis that it actually says "He composed a String Quartet in A major in about 1913, his final year at Cambridge. The first public performance of the quartet was given on 9 June 1914 at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge: it can be safely classified, therefore, as a student work," [my emphasis].
There needs to be a new, uninvolved reviewer go over this.
Farang Rak Tham was the GA reviewer, and is listed as one of the article's editors. — Maile (talk) , 15 July 2019 (UTC) reopening this, as I raised a query at WT: DYK, but the hook is due to go live in less than an hour so no time to discuss.
The composer withdrew the work from performance and suppressed the previously published score. For ALT2, the wiki article doesn't state that there is controversy about the word, just that its usefulness has been questioned.
In ALT3, it is not clear what is the cause and what is the effect you are describing when you say I pulled this from queue and re-opened the nomination.
